Alt Penedès is a wine area full of contrasts, known basically for its wines, but also for making sparkling wines (or cavas), which gives this land a distinctive uniqueness. Its landscape offers attractive paths, trails and tracks through vineyards that explain the cultural significance of the region. 

The region has 2 main features: the proximity to the sea,  and a plain full of vineyards that merge into the Mediterranean forest areas. Its priviledged location, close to both Barcelona and Tarragona. 

It is an area with beautiful scenery, with trails for all skill levels and accessible for hiking, cycling and mountain biking, which can be combined with pit-stops to taste its gastronomy, take in a wine tour or visit a cultural site. It offers a complete and unique experience to enjoy throughout the year, thanks to its typically mild climate.
